A wave of biological terrorist attacks threatens Europe as well as in the United States. The infectious agent is Yersinia Pestis, the virus of the plague. The operational unit is made up of Morocan Islamic extremists.
Diego Le Matt is a gipsy from Marseille. A retired member of the Special Forces commando, he stands as the very personification of the solitary hero, a hard man who can be tender. Superintendent Moutot, his long-time friend, warns him: something significant is about to happen. When he hears about the superintendent having committed suicide, Diego understands he has been assassinated. He starts his own inquest and discovers a highly complex network with roots in China where the mysterious ‘Snake Head,’ the chief of a triad, is planning the mass production of the antidote for the plague.
