A wave of biological terrorist attacks threatens Europe as well as in the United States. The infectious agent is Yersinia Pestis, the virus of the plague. The operational unit is made up of Morocan Islamic extremists.
Diego Le Matt is a gipsy from Marseille. A retired member of the Special Forces commando, he stands as the very personification of the solitary hero, a hard man who can be tender. Superintendent Moutot, his long-time friend, warns him: something significant is about to happen. When he hears about the superintendent having committed suicide, Diego understands he has been assassinated. Born in 1960, Edmond Zucchelli lives in Marseilles. A former reporter and chief editor as well as news presenter for Europe 1 radio, since 2005 he devotes his time to writing. He has published two essays with Calmann-Lévy, and Tête de serpent is his second novel.
