Michel Deguy is a major figure of the French literary scene. The editor of the Po&sie journal and « L’extrême contemporain » book series for almost 30 years, the recipient of many literary awards, Deguy is also professor emeritus at Paris VIII where he lectures at the International School of Philosophy.
